Primer D

Uses

A fast-drying bitumen primer for all surfaces prior to the application of the self-adhesive range.

Features

• Promotes intimate contact between substrate and tape
  compound
  
• Promotes high adhesion
  
• Fast-drying
  
• Good wetting and penetration characteristics
  
• Can be applied by brush, roller or spray

Application

• Steel surfaces should be cleaned to a minimum standard of St2.
  
• Apply a thin uniform coat of Primer D to cleaned substrate and
  allow to tack dry.
  
• Drying time will be dependent upon prevailing conditions.
  
• Primed surfaces should be overcoated (taped) within approximately 8 hours of application, depending on site
  conditions, failing which repriming is required.
