Flexible watertight sealant

Bitumen Flashing compound is cut-back bitumen mastic, reinforced with inert fillers and plasticisers that air-dries to form a flexible watertight sealant.

Manufactured in SA for SA conditions

Uses

Bitumen Flashing is designed to be used in conjunction with Fibremesh glass felt as a flashing system to almost any area requiring protection from the elements.

For use as a flashing compound on:

Bituminous roof sheeting
Cement and concrete
Brickwork
Wood
Metal and galvanized sheets

Features

Bitumen Flashing is durable and flexible and can be overcoated with most acrylic paints.

Application

Surfaces should be clean and dry.
Apply by means of brush.
When used in conjunction with Fibremesh, always place the reinforcement 'mesh to substrate'.
