Double-sided Tape

Uses

Double-sided Tape is used to form waterproof joints at wall-to-wall,
wall-to-floor junctions and beneath all adjacent and end butt joints of the Tilesafe membrane.

Application

• Surfaces should be clean, dry and dust free.
• Prime with Primer D.
• Apply 150 mm wide Double-sided Tape to the floor along the
  centre line where each side and end lap butt joints will occur.
  
• Remove the underside release paper and fix tape to the floor.
  
• Leave the top plastic release film in place until the Tilesafe
  membrane is applied.
  
• The Tilesafe membrane must centrally overlap the Double-sided Tape by 75 mm on each side.

Note: If silicone sealant is to be used between tiles at corners, etc
it is important to ensure that it does not make direct contact with
the Double-sided Tape.
