Delta Roof Drain

Delta Roof Drain

Thermoplastic rubber drainage

Delta Roof Drains are manufactured using the highest quality and grade of thermoplastic rubber available. The ribbed application surface can withstand the extreme heat generated when torching waterproofing membranes and readily accepts bitumen primer prior to torching. The outlets are flexible yet rigid enough to withstand the pressure from concrete casting.

Delta Leaf Grate

Delta Leaf Grate can be used in 100mm and 110mm pipes.

Fields of application

As an inside or outside drain for:

  • Horizontal gargoyles with free waterfall
  • Balconies and terraces
  • Industrial sheds
  • Flat roofs with parapet walls

Features

  • Ribbed application surface can withstand extreme heat
  • Readily accepts bitumen primer
  • Can withstand pressure from concrete casting
  • Prevents the passage of water vapour and water from backing up into insulation materials or under the waterproofing materials
  • Perfect seal to the inner surface of the pipe itself

Application

Installation is generally carried out at a 5-degree slope through a brick or concrete structure. A soaker flange of waterproofing membrane should be installed prior to the final outlet placement.

  • After laying the first layer of waterproofing, heat the area
of waterproofing that is to be covered with the flange of the
    Delta Roof Drain.
  • Immediately slide the Delta Roof Drain in the hole or pipe and
make the flange adhere to the surface.
  • Smear the flange with paste made from heating a piece of
    membrane, filling all the ribs.
  • Lay the second waterproofing layer with a hole at least
20 mm smaller than the inside diameter of the Delta Roof Drain.
Heat the remaining 20 mm of the membrane and bend into
the mouth of the Delta Roof Drain.
  • Insert the Delta Leaf Grate (Spider).

NB: if the waterproofing system is a single layer system the first layer must be replaced with a piece of membrane at least 500 x 500 mm.

Delta Leaf Grate

The Delta Leaf Grate is made from a flexible plastic material
and is used to stop leaves and other matter from building up in
drainage pipes. The Delta Leaf Grate is inserted into the drainage
pipe where it anchors itself.

The Delta Leaf Grate can be used in 100 mm and 110 mm pipes.
