The Uni-torch range has been designed and developed for waterproofing in situations such as:

  • Exposed Roofing

  • Parking Decks

  • Terraces and Balconies

  • Unitorch 3mm is used as a capping to parapet walls

Application:

UNI-TORCH is commercially available and is to be installed by workmen experienced in torch-on applications.

As we have no control over the application it is advisable that work be carried out in accordance with The Waterproofing Centre's Code of Practice.

APP-modified Roofing Membrane

Description:

Uni-torch is a waterproofing membrane manufactured with a complex mixture of bitumen and APP (Atactic Polypropylene), carefully proportioned so as to obtain excellent and constant characteristics.

It has a dual reinforcement, a fibreglass mat ( visible on the surface) and a non-woven polyester core. These ensure dimensional stability, high tensile strength and resistance to tear and puncture and resistant to ultra violet radiation.

Surface preparation:

Surface preparation, as with all waterproofing installations, is of paramount importance to the success and long-life of the system. Ensure that the surface to be treated is dry and sound, free of loose, dusting or flaking particles and free from contaminants such as grease and fungus.
